Australian Breastfeeding Association Helpline – 1800 mum 2 mum (1800 686 268) – A great resource for new mothers breastfeeding. I called their hotline when my bub was only a few weeks old, a great support.
CHILD AND FAMILY CENTRES
Drop in centres that provide support for families. Includes services such as paint n play, MACH nurses at certain times, support groups for families from diverse backgrounds.

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH (MACH) NURSING SERVICE AND DROP IN CLINICS
MACH nurses can be found at the Child and Family Centres during certain hours or at your local MACH clinic. To make an appointment, contact Community Health Intake 6207 9977 or drop in to one of the clinics at the drop in times. Developmental checks and immunisations require an appointment.
SLEEP AND SETTLING
Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) 6205 2333 – Support for families with unsettled babies, feeding problems, failure to thrive etc.
Early Days – a support group for parents of newborns up to three months of age
