The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

If a book is so engaging that it causes me to skip meals and call in ‘sick’ to work, then it is worth a read. The Night Circus is this book.

night circusI have never in my life read such a beautifully crafted book that captured my imagination, heart and soul all at the same time. Author, Erin Morgenstern took me on a journey I didn’t expect; one where I didn’t know where I was going and one I didn’t want to return from. This book was so beautifully crafted, I turned each page like parchment careful to preserve every word written on every page.<!–more–>

The Night Circus is wondrously dark and suspiciously enthralling. Words cannot describe the depth at which Erin emerges her readers in. She creates a web of entangled characters, an immeasurable love, and a plot so obscure, you won’t stop trying to figure it out nor thinking about it long after you’ve finished reading. I wanted so desperately to know where the book was going but I feared the more read, the closer I would be to the end.

The Night Circus kept me engrossed from start to finish. I didn’t want to put this book down. I couldn’t wait until I picked it up again. And I never, ever wanted it to end.
